Citation Guides
Assembling a List of Works Cited in Your Paper
Provides examples for citing different types of sources in APA, Chicago, MLA and Turabian styles. Includes guides to citing motion pictures, email messages, web pages and many more source types.

Cite Sources
MLA and Turabian citation formats for films, legal documents, maps, photographs, recorded sound, and other formats. From the Library of Congress. Also links to a section on copyright.

Journal Articles

American Periodicals Series
 
Full text of over 1000 magazines and journals published in the US between 1740 and 1900. Use alphabetical title list to browse for and limit searches to titles that pertain to women. e.g. L for Ladies, H for Home, etc.

Contemporary Womens Issues (1992+) UVA only
An index with international coverage on issues relating to women in sociology, psychology, health, education, and human rights. Includes book reviews. Look for the Find@UVA link below each citation to locate full-text.

Medieval Feminist Index
