Edit Copies Wizard - Modify Copy Information
- Open the EDIT COPIES wizard.
- Enter the search for the title and click on ok.
- From the search results box, highlight the title and click on modify copy.
- The vol/copy folder tab displays (one call number)
Edit copy information and click on ok.
OR,
The all volumes folder tab displays (multiple call numbers)
Highlight the call number that needs editing and click on modify/copy. Edit the copy information. - Click on ok to save the changes.

Add Copies Wizard - Create a Copy
- Open the ADD COPIES wizard.
- Enter the search for the title and click on ok.
- From the search results box, highlight the title and click on add copy.
The New copy folder tab displays (one call number)
OR,
The all volumes folder tab displays (multiple call numbers). Highlight the call number for the library the copy is being added and click on add copy and the new copy folder tab will display.
New copy folder
- Call number info - displays but can't edit from this screen
- Call number
- Class scheme
- Library
- Copy info
- Barcode: enter barcode
- Type: book - change as necessary
- Home location: change as necessary
- Item cat1: change to ADD
- Item cat2: change to RUSH as needed
- Current location: change as needed
- Comments: add ID and date
Example: cmd4s 2/13/2001 Click on ok to save the changes.

Existing Volumes and Call Numbers Wizard
- Open the EDIT EXISTING VOLUMES AND CALL NUMBERS wizard.
- Enter the search for the title and click on ok.
- From the search results box, highlight the title and click on modify vol/copy.
- The vol/copy folder tab displays (one call number)
OR,
The all volumes folder tab displays (multiple call numbers)
- Highlight the call number to be edited and click on modify vol/copy.
Vol/copy folder tab
- Call number info
- Call number: check call number; correct any spacing problems
- Class scheme:
LC (monographs)
MONOSER (multi volume monographs)
LCPER (serial)
- Library: check for accuracy
- Copy info
- Barcode: check for accuracy
- Type: book - change as needed
- Home location: change as needed
- Item cat1: change to ADD
- Item cat2: change to RUSH as needed
- Current location: change as needed
- Comments: Add ID and date
Example: cmd4s 2/13/2001 After all changes have been entered, click on OK button to save the changes

Add Volumes and Call Numbers Wizard
- Open the ADD VOLUMES AND CALL NUMBERS wizard.
- Enter search for the title and click on ok.
- From the search results box, highlight the title and click on add call number.
Highlight the call number the library the volume is being add and click on add call number.
Library for new call number
- Enter library and click on ok.
New volume tab:
- Call number info:
New call number field: after the base call number add |z delimiter and the volume number (no spaces between the base call and |z delimiter and the volume designator).
- Class scheme: MONOSER (monographs: LCPER (serials)
- Library: check and change as necessary
- Copy info:
- Barcode: enter barcode (if wanding, may want to save this for last step)
- Type: book - change as necessary
- Home location: enter location
- Item cat1: change to ADD
- Item cat2: change to RUSH as needed
- Current location: change as needed
- Comments: add ID and date
Example: cmd4s 2/13/2001 After all changes have been entered, click on ok to save the changes
- Enter library and click on ok.

Maintain Existing Title Wizard
- Open MAINTAIN EXISTING TITLES wizard.
- Enter the search for the title and click on ok.
- To make changes to the fixed field and bibliographical information, click
on the bib folder tab.
- To make changes to the MARC Hldgs (mhld) record, click on MARC Hldgs folder
tab.
- To make changes to copy and volume information, click on the vol/copy or all volumes folder tab.
MAINTAIN EXISTING TITLES wizard is used to make changes to material already in the catalog.
