Books
Clemons Library has a collection of 100,000 books and periodicals. The collection largely consists of high-use social sciences and humanities titles and representative basic texts in other fields. We maintain multiple copies of many high use items. Clemons also holds the University's film studies materials which are used in conjunction with the Robertson Media Center located on our 3rd floor.
Our books are arranged according to the Library of Congress Classification system as follows:

- Magazines: Clemons subscribes to 170 periodicals which include news, public affairs, science and popular
culture titles, as well as 17 film studies journals and over 100 commerce related publications. Clemons also receives 7 local and national newspapers daily.
- Sunday Book Review Titles: Clemons receives virtually all fiction and nonfiction books reviewed in the New York Times Book Review and the Washington Post Book World within a few days of their review.
These books can be found on display near the Course Reserves room on the 4th floor.
- Browsing Books: On our main floor, we feature a collection of recent bestsellers and popular titles.
