Digital Initiatives at the UVa Library reflect the vision of a distributed and flexible technology infrastructure that enhances access, manipulation, storage, distribution, and integration of information and services throughout the University of Virginia.

Spotlight

Working with images in the Digital Collections RepositoryThe Digital Collections Repository is now available to the UVa community. The Repository currently contains over 20,000 images of art and architecture and more than 10,000 electronic texts. A tool called Collectus is available for users to save personal collections from the Repository and create web pages and slide shows.

Announcements

Database of Recorded American Music
The Database of Recorded American Music (DRAM) contains recordings of music by American composers and artists. Most of the recordings are US art music from the 20th century, but there are also collections of jazz, folk, and popular music covering particular genres and periods.
