Fedora User's Conference 2006

The University of Virginia

Monday June 19 - Tuesday June 20, 2006

DEADLINE EXTENDED: MONDAY, MAY 22, 2006

The deadline for poster session submissions has been extended to Monday, May 22, 2006. All are invited to submit proposals poster sessions dealing with any aspect of the implementation and use of Fedora.

While all topics will be considered, there will be two tracks of programming: a track dealing with technical Fedora software development issues; and a track focusing on more general implementation issues, including workflows, standards, and development of user-focused services using Fedora.

POSTERS:

We are soliciting proposals for poster sessions, providing the opportunity to present work in progress in a less formal way. Accepted posters will be displayed at the conference and dedicated time will be given to them on the program. It is expected that representatives of each project will accompany their posters to answer questions. Poster presentations may involve demonstrations.

Poster proposals should consist of a title, an abstract (ca. 250 words), and contact information for the authors and presenters, if different.

SUBMISSIONS

Proposals for posters should be submitted by email to the Fedora Users Conference by MONDAY, MAY 22th, 2006.

Please include the phrase "Fedora Users Conference 2006 Proposal" as the first part of the subject heading in your email.
