Disability Services

The University Library provides a variety of services and equipment in support of the research needs of individuals with disabilities.

Arrangements can be made for paging materials or providing specialized study arrangements.

Equipment primarily for the use of the visually impaired is located in Clemons Library, and includes a Kurzweil Reading Machine, a computer with software for voice output, and Visualtek Readers.

Individual libraries can provide specific information about wheelchair accessibility. For more information about these and other services, call Matt Ball, Coordinator of Disabilities Services (924-3812; jmb4aw@virginia.edu).
