- The Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library in the Harrison/Small Building includes more than 250,000 photoprints and negatives in its collections.
- The Fiske Kimball Fine Arts Library in the School of Architecture's Campbell Hall offers support of the visual arts and design information needs of the university community. The Library's Fine Arts Image Collection includes over 192,000 slides pertaining to architecture, the visual arts, drama, and other related subjects.
- The McIntire Department of Art Visual Resources Collection in Fayerwether Hall contains 275,000 slides documenting art worldwide in support of instruction. Their ARTEMIS database lets you search their collection, including over 9,000 digital images. Their collection also includes visual documentation of the University of Virginia Art Museum (formerly the Bayly Art Museum), which houses over 10,000 objects from antiquity to the present day.
