ALDERMAN CAFE OPENS IN ALDERMAN

Alderman Cafe, a new coffee house, opened in the lobby of Alderman Library on September 1.
The shop serves Greenberry's coffee and baked items and is run by University Dining Services. This new cafe is part of a University-wide effort to establish "common grounds," meeting places for faculty and students.
The hours of operation will be 8:00 am through 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm through 10:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and 9:00 am through 3:00 pm on Fridays. There will be no weekend hours during the fall semester.
A Grand Opening Ceremony was held on September 11 with a talk by Jahan Ramazani, former Faculty Senate Chair.
