Digital microforms scanning: user policies

  • Before using the scanners, you must have a brief training session in order to be familiar with the equipment. Email Arlyn Newcomb to set up an appointment for training or to schedule time to use the scanners.
  • Between 8am-5pm , users who have scheduled time on the scanners take priority over walk-in users, please schedule an appointment.
  • You must provide your own media or method for saving your files.
    Options include blank writable CDROMs, USB/Flash drives (aka "thumb"
    drives), a valid Home Directory account, or another server account to
    which you may FTP the files (you must know the full address of the server
    and your userid and password).
  • Food and drink are not allowed near any of the scanning equipment.
