Print Reference Collections

All the University Libraries maintain reference collections in which you can find the answers to many of your questions. Reference materials include: Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Handbooks, and Research Guides, Tables and Equations, Biographical Collections, Directories, Indexes and Abstracts, Statistics, Maps and Altases

To search for reference items in VIRGO, select ADVANCED SEARCH (in the upper right corner of the main VIRGO Catalog search screen). In the "keyword anywhere" field, type the subject that you are interested in. Scroll down the page to "Item Type" search box and select "REFERENCE" from the pull-down menu. This will limit your search to reference items only.
