Charlottesville and Albemarle Data Project
The following instructions provide a step-by-step guide for working with data for Charlottesville and Albemarle in ArcMap. You will access the project from the instructions page. Index grids and many county- or city-wide layers such as buildings are already loaded into the ArcMap project. The instructions will explain how to add in the CAD and image files. You will also have to do this work in the Scholars' Lab in Alderman Library, although once you have created a map, it can be saved and accessed anywhere. Staff will be available to answer questions from 10 to 6, Monday through Friday (including Sept. 6, Labor Day).
