Staff at the Scholars' Lab are available to help faculty and students with the development of scholarly electronic projects by providing project consultation and support.
Users interested in developing electronic text, statistical database or geospatial projects and collections will find able and experienced staff to help identify appropriate technologies, methodologies, and resources for accomplishing their goals.
We can help you:
- plan projects that make use of textual, spatial or statistical data and analysis
- locate and access specific text and data resources
- download and/or translate datasets
- create subsets or aggregations of datasets
- get data into formats suitable for a GIS or statistical software package
- use GIS software to create maps for display or analysis
- scan maps or aerial photographs
- develop web-based tools to display information
