The Charles L. Brown Library Instructional Program
The Brown Science & Engineering Library staff and its satellite libraries' staff teach classes on a wide variety of subjects, including HTML, the basics of the VIRGO catalog, science and engineering databases, and searching the web. Many of these classes are taught in the Brown Library electronic classroom, which is located in the Clark Hall and which provides our users with opportunities for hands-on learning. We also are particularly interested in working with our faculty to design classes that support the informational needs of their courses, and we are willing to come to your classroom to demonstrate and discuss with you and your students information gathering skills, library research, and related topics.
