Printing, Copying, and Scanning

The Research Computing Lab, located in the Brown Science & Engineering Library, is open to the public and is staffed by trained technicians, who are available to help patrons scan both images and text and perform other kinds of text and image manipulation. In addition to its daytime hours, it is open most evenings and on Sundays when classes are in session. The Lab also offers instruction in the use of digital imaging hardware and software.

There are photocopiers located on the main and journal stacks floors of the Brown Library. These machines accept coins, dollar bills and both departmental and Cavalier Advantage copy cards. There is also a Cavalier Advantage card dispenser located near the main floor copiers. You may use this machine to purchase cards and to add money to existing cards.
