Jointly sponsored by the Department of Information, Technology, and Computing (ITC) and by the UVa Library, the Teaching with Technology Laptop Pilot Program is an experimental initiative designed to help faculty members use technology in the classroom.

Below is some helpful information that adds to or recaps the material gone over in the training sessions.

    What Does It All Mean? -- A glossary of computing terms.

    Getting Comfortable with Your Laptop -- The coaching found here will help you feel at ease, physically as well as mentally, with your laptop.

    Finding Your Way Around -- This information will enable you to navigate with confidence through the "world" of your laptop, so that you'll be able to save, find, and move files knowledgeably and efficiently.

    Creating a Web Page -- This page lists tools to help you "author" a web page, including HTML, Netscape Composer, and Dreamweaver.
