Tibetan and Himalayan Information Community

The Tibetan and Himalayan Digital Library (THDL) was founded in 2000 in conjunction with the UVa Library and the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities at UVa. It run by an international team of scholars and provides an integrated environment for digital publication of many diverse projects. All its digital facilities are fully available to participating individuals and organizations. The THDL is the model for the UVa Library Information Communities, and its community operates in tandem with the Library's Communities, serving all individuals involved in any aspect of Tibetan and Himalayan Studies. All Tibetan and Himalayan Information Community activities and content are managed and delivered by the THDL with support from the Library.
