Rosalind Calhoun has served as both a full-time archivist and librarian and has nearly a decade of experience working with rare books and special collections. She holds a Master of Science in Book History and Material Culture from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Library and Information Science with a focus in Archives and Digital Curation–Special Collections from the University of Maryland. Her work has mainly centered in the 16th–20th centuries, with emphasis in art history, visual culture, material culture, and American history - particularly the history of enslavement and race. She is a proponent of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access, and is passionate about engaging with communities through instruction and outreach.
